About This Product

Product Overview

Neelansh equipment & machines is a salient manufacturer, supplier & exporter of stainless steel IR Dryer. IR dryers are used in pharmaceutical and food processing industry for heating solution to dry the containers, IPC bins etc.

Guide

What is an infrared dryer and how does it work?

An infrared (IR) dryer uses infrared heaters to dry surfaces that have just been washed. In pharmaceutical and food plants it is used to dry containers, IPC (in-process container) bins and similar vessels after cleaning, so they are dry before they go back into use.

Infrared heating works by radiation rather than by heating the air. The heater gives off infrared energy, and the surfaces it reaches absorb that energy and warm up directly. Water absorbs infrared strongly, so the moisture left on a washed surface heats up and evaporates. Because the energy goes into the surface rather than into the room, the area around the dryer stays close to normal temperature, and drying does not depend on hot air circulating around the container.

We make two designs. The umbrella type has a wide, umbrella-shaped hood that sits over an open container or bin and directs heat down onto it; we have built umbrellas up to 1,500 mm in diameter. The insertion type has a heater that is lowered into the container to dry it from the inside. Both are mounted on a mobile stand with castor wheels, so one dryer can serve several containers, and we install them at your site.
