About Cleanroom Equipment

Precision Equipment for Safer Cleanroom Operations

Cleanroom equipment is mostly made of SS 304 or SS 316 stainless steel, and what each facility needs depends on its production, manufacturing and laboratory processes.

We design our cleanroom equipment for low particle generation, easy cleaning and daily use: stainless steel sheds fewer particles than most other materials, stands up to repeated cleaning and is robust.

Neelansh Equipments & Machines manufactures cleanroom equipment in-house in Pune, including pass boxes, laminar air flow units, dispensing booths and bio safety cabinets. We supply, install and commission across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

Guide

What is cleanroom equipment?

Cleanroom equipment, also written clean room equipment, is the set of machines and enclosures that keep a controlled room clean while people and materials move through it and work inside it. Walls, HVAC and HEPA ceilings set the room's class; the equipment protects the most critical steps, controls how materials and people enter, and contains dust or organisms that the work releases.

Rooms are graded by how many particles they allow. ISO 14644-1 sets classes from ISO 1 to ISO 9: ISO 5 is the old Class 100, ISO 7 is Class 10,000 and ISO 8 is Class 100,000. In pharmaceutical manufacturing, EU GMP Annex 1 uses Grades A to D, where Grade A matches ISO 5 and Grade D matches ISO 8. Most of our equipment creates or protects an ISO 5 (Class 100) zone inside a room of a lower class.

If you are upgrading for revised Schedule M, our equipment checklist maps each requirement to the equipment that serves it.

Our range

Cleanroom equipment we manufacture

Pass boxes

Static and dynamic pass boxes for moving material between rooms without people traffic.

Laminar air flow

Vertical, horizontal, ceiling suspended and mobile units that create a Class 100 work zone.

Dispensing booths

Reverse laminar air flow booths for weighing and sampling powders with operator protection.

Bio safety cabinets

HEPA-filtered cabinets protecting the operator, sample and lab during microbiology work.

Air showers and mist showers

Entry systems that remove particles from personnel before they enter the clean area.

Garment cubicles and HEPA cabinets

Clean storage for sterile garments, tools and components.

Fume hoods and air curtains

Extraction for chemical work and air barriers at doorways.

Mobile HEPA trolleys

Moving sterile items between areas under HEPA-filtered air.

Process equipment

SS stirrers, conveyors, tablet inspection belts and infrared dryers for production lines.

Planning

Which equipment goes where in a cleanroom

At the entry points, air showers and garment cubicles prepare people, while pass boxes handle materials: static pass boxes between rooms of the same class, dynamic pass boxes where the classes differ.

Inside the room, critical open work happens under an ISO 5 zone: laminar air flow units when only the product needs protecting, bio safety cabinets when the operator must also be protected from biological material, and dispensing booths when powders are weighed or sampled and the dust must be kept away from the operator.

Planning the equipment together with the room layout avoids common problems: pass boxes that do not fit the wall thickness, booths too tall for the ceiling, or units placed where the room's own airflow disturbs them.

Buying guide

What to check before you buy cleanroom equipment

Room class and process

Know the class of each room and what happens at each point: open product, powders, biological work or only material transfer.

Material of construction

SS 304 suits most cleanrooms; SS 316 resists strong daily disinfectants better. Powder-coated MS is an option for lighter duty.

Filtration and airflow

HEPA filter rating, air velocity at the work zone and gauges that show when filters need changing.

Fit to the room

Wall openings, ceiling height, door sizes and service access, measured on site before fabrication.

Testing access

PAO ports and measuring points for HEPA integrity, velocity and particle count checks during qualification.

Installation and support

A manufacturer who installs and commissions the equipment at your site, and can supply spares and filters later.

How we work

From enquiry to installation

Every piece of cleanroom equipment is built to order through the same six stages, so the unit fits your room and your process.

  1. 01

Planning: your room layout, process and transfer or work needs

  2. 02

Evaluation: size, airflow, filtration and material grade

  3. 03

Inspection: site measurements and wall or ceiling openings

  4. 04

Design: drawings shared for your approval before fabrication

  5. 05

Manufacturing: fabricated in-house at our Pune factory

  6. 06

Installation: delivered, installed and commissioned at your site

Supply across India

Cleanroom equipment manufacturer in Pune, supplying across India

Neelansh Equipments & Machines manufactures all its cleanroom equipment in-house at our factory in Hadapsar, Pune, in SS 304, SS 316 or powder-coated MS. We supply, install and commission across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

Most projects combine equipment with cleanroom furniture such as cross-over benches, lockers and working tables, so one supplier can fit out the whole area. Share your layout and send us your requirement for a quotation. Other equipment we make includes the mist shower, air curtain, mobile HEPA trolley, fume hood, SS stirrer, infrared dryer and SS conveyor. We also make cleanroom furniture, cleanroom accessories, hospital furniture and material handling equipment.

Questions

Cleanroom equipment F.A.Q.

What is the difference between a laminar air flow, a dispensing booth and a bio safety cabinet?

A laminar air flow protects only the product. A dispensing booth (reverse laminar air flow) protects the product and keeps powder dust away from the operator. A bio safety cabinet protects the operator, the sample and the lab during work with biological material.

Do you supply and install cleanroom equipment outside Pune?

Yes. We manufacture in Pune and supply, install and commission across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

Can you make cleanroom equipment in custom sizes?

Yes. Every unit is built to order, so sizes, materials and fittings can be matched to your room and process.

Which material is best for cleanroom equipment?

SS 304 stainless steel is the standard for most cleanrooms. SS 316 is better where strong disinfectants are used every day. Powder-coated MS is a lower-cost option for less demanding areas.
