All contact part are made of 316 grade stainless steel material and solvent and corrosive resistant. The construction of tablet inspection belt allows standard machine to be integrated with existing conveyor or handling system.

What is a tablet inspection belt and how does it work?
A tablet inspection belt is a small conveyor that carries tablets or capsules past an operator in a thin, spread-out layer under good light, so the operator can pick out broken, chipped, spotted, discoloured or misshapen units by hand before packing.
Tablets are loaded into a hopper and fed onto a moving endless belt. As the belt runs under the inspection light, the operator watches the product go by and removes defective pieces, often with a vacuum pick-up gun, while accepted product carries on to the discharge chute and into a container. The belt speed is set with a variable frequency drive (VFD), so it can be slowed for small or difficult products and run faster for simple ones.
Our tablet inspection belt has all contact parts in SS 316, a matt or mirror finish, an endless belt driven by a Bonfiglioli or Rotomotive motor with a Delta VFD, focused LED lighting and an optional vacuum gun. Different tablet and capsule shapes and sizes can be inspected without change parts, and output is around 7 to 8 lakh tablets or capsules per shift, depending on the product. It runs on a single-phase 230 V supply.

Endless belt with VFD
An endless belt driven by a Bonfiglioli or Rotomotive motor, with a Delta VFD to set the speed.

How to choose the right tablet inspection belt

F.A.Q.
What is difference between SS 304 and 316 grade steel?
SS 304 contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel whereas SS 316 contains 16% chromium, 10% nickel and 10% molybdenum. Containing molybdenum SS 316 has greater bearing resistance chemical attack than SS 304.
Do you offer installation services?
Yes, we are providing installation services for our own equipment.
Do you supply and install tablet inspection belts outside Pune?
Yes. We manufacture in Pune and supply, install and commission tablet inspection belts across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Share your requirement and we will send a quotation.
How many tablets can be inspected per shift?
Around 7 to 8 lakh tablets or capsules per shift, depending on the size and shape of the product and how closely it has to be checked.
Do I need change parts for different tablet sizes?
No. Different shapes and sizes of tablets and capsules can be inspected on the same belt without change parts; the speed is adjusted with the VFD.
