Dispensers and Air Dryers

Hand hygiene comes before every entry to a clean area: staff wash their hands, dry them and then sanitise or glove. The fittings used for those steps are touched by everyone, many times a day, so they must not become a way for contamination to pass from one person to the next. That is why touch-free operation, cleanable surfaces and secure, tamper-resistant fixing matter.

Drying is part of hand hygiene, not an afterthought. Damp hands transfer microbes more easily than dry ones, and WHO guidance says hands should be dried thoroughly after washing. Facilities choose between single-use towels and hand dryers; WHO guidance for health care prefers single-use towels, so hospitals should follow their infection-control policy, while many plants choose sensor-operated dryers for change rooms and wash areas to avoid paper waste and touching.

A stainless steel casing does not rust, crack or stain under repeated cleaning, and it matches the rest of the stainless steel fittings in a clean area. Wall mounting keeps the floor and counters clear, and concealed screws or a lock stop casings being opened or removed by anyone other than maintenance staff.

Our SS hand dryers have an SS 304 casing in a smooth matt finish and touch-free sensor operation. They are wall mounted, with concealed screws or a secure lock that resists tampering, and a directed air outlet for fast drying. Our SS soap dispensers are wall mounted in SS 304 with a matt or mirror finish, with a lockable top cover for refilling, push-button dispensing, a transparent window to check the soap level and a leak-proof, anti-drip design.

Plan the wash point as a sequence: wash at the SS sink unit, dispense soap, dry, then sanitise. Placing the dispenser beside the sink and the dryer next to it keeps water off the floor and stops people walking around with wet hands.
