What makes a chair or stool suitable for a cleanroom?
Seating in a cleanroom has to do more than hold an operator comfortably. Every surface has to survive frequent wiping with disinfectants, nothing should shed fibres or particles, and there should be no fabric, foam or hidden gaps where dirt and microbes can collect. That is why cleanroom chairs and stools are made of stainless steel throughout, with smooth seats and backs and welded frames.
Comfort still matters, because operators often sit for long periods at inspection tables, LAF units and workbenches. Height adjustment lets one chair suit different people and different work heights, a backrest reduces fatigue, and a swivel lets the operator turn between tasks without dragging the chair. Stools suit short tasks and standing-height benches.
How the chair meets the floor is a choice too. Fixed legs with nylon bushes stay where they are put and protect the floor, while castors let an operator move between workstations. Our SS chairs and stools are made of SS 304, with SS 316 on request, in a matt or mirror finish. Fixed models have nylon bushes in the legs and can be fitted with wheels, and backs come in tilting or fixed types.

Cleanability

Are your chairs and stools suitable for cleanroom environments?
Definitely, it is made of fully 304 stainless steel and it can be sterilised in an autoclave.
Which grade of stainless steel are you using?
We are using 304/316 grade stainless steel in all our products, some of the products are made from 316 grade stainless steel as per client’s demands.
Do you supply SS chairs and stools outside Pune?
Yes. We manufacture in Pune and supply SS chairs and stools across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Share your quantities and we will send a quotation.
Can I get a height-adjustable SS chair?
Yes. Our SS swivel chair has a height-adjustable gas lift and a five-star base on swivel castors, and our revolving stool also has adjustable height.
