About This Product

Product Overview

Neelansh equipment & machines is a salient manufacturer, supplier & exporter of stainless steel HEPA cabinet. SS HEPA cabinet is fitted with HEPA filter, motor and UV lights to meet a variety of cleanroom needs. It is mostly used to store cleaned tools, change parts and components under HEPA-filtered air and UV light.

Guide

What is a HEPA cabinet and how does it work?

An SS HEPA cabinet is a stainless steel storage cabinet with its own HEPA filter, blower and UV lights. It keeps clean items, such as tools, machine change parts, small components and sampling accessories, free of dust and microbes between cleaning and use, inside or next to a clean area.

The blower draws room air through the HEPA filter and pushes it into the cabinet, so the inside is filled with filtered air and kept at a slightly higher pressure than the room. Unfiltered air cannot drift in, and particles brought in on items are carried out with the airflow. HEPA filters are designed to capture fine particles around 0.3 micron, the size that is hardest to filter.

The UV lights are used while the doors are closed to reduce the number of microbes on exposed surfaces. UV acts only on surfaces it shines on directly, so it supports cleaning and disinfection rather than replacing them: items should go into the cabinet already clean. We build our HEPA cabinets in SS 304 as standard, or SS 316 on request, and install them at your site.

A HEPA cabinet is for storage, not for open work. Its doors stay closed except when items are put in or taken out. Work on exposed product, such as sampling or aseptic handling, is done under a laminar air flow unit instead. Likewise, a HEPA cabinet is not a garment cubicle: garment cubicles are shaped and sized for coveralls, hoods and gowning accessories, while a HEPA cabinet has shelves planned around tools, parts and components.

Buying guide

How to choose the right HEPA cabinet

What you store

List the items, their sizes and how many, so the shelves and cabinet size suit them.

HEPA cabinet or garment cubicle

Choose a HEPA cabinet for tools, parts and components, and a garment cubicle for garments and gowning accessories.

UV use

Decide when the UV will run and who switches it, and remember it only reaches surfaces in direct line of sight.

Material grade

SS 304 for most areas; SS 316 where cleaning chemicals are strong or used often.

Location and power

Plan where the cabinet will stand and where the power supply is.

Filter access

Plan access for filter changes and testing, so the cabinet can be maintained in place.
