About This Product

Product Overview

Garment Cubicles with HEPA Filters are used for storing sterile aprons, garment & other accessories. The unit prevents contaminations from outside dust particles and air borne bacteria. The inside of the cubicle is flushed with fresh air supplied from HEPA filter which is re-circulated.

Key functions: removes dust from cleanroom garments; minimizes contamination carryover; maintains cleanroom hygiene standards; protects cleanroom environments; supports personnel decontamination.

Guide

What is a garment cubicle and how does it work?

A garment cubicle, also called a garment cabinet or HEPA garment storage cabinet, is a stainless steel cupboard that keeps cleanroom garments, sterile aprons and gowning accessories clean between washing and use. It usually stands in the gowning room, so garments are stored right where people change into them.

A blower on top of the cabinet draws in room air and passes it first through a fine filter and then through a HEPA filter, and the filtered air flows down through the storage space before being re-circulated. Because the inside is constantly flushed with clean air and kept at a slight positive pressure, dust and airborne bacteria from the room cannot settle on the stored garments, even when the doors are opened for a moment.

Our garment cubicle's datasheet specifies a fine filter of 95% efficiency down to 5 micron, a HEPA filter of 99.97% efficiency down to 0.3 micron, an air velocity of 0.45 m/s and noise below 67 dB. It is built in SS 304, SS 316 or powder-coated MS, with single or double sandwich-type doors, LED lights and a 5/15 A socket. We make static and dynamic models in standard and custom sizes.

Buying guide

How to choose the right garment cubicle

Static or dynamic

A static cubicle suits packed garments in a clean gowning room; choose a dynamic cubicle for unpacked garments or where you want pressure monitoring and UV.

Storage volume

Count the garments and accessories stored per shift and how they are kept: folded, packed or on shelves.

Room space

Check the floor space, ceiling height and door swing in the gowning room. Width, height and shelf layout made to suit your garment volumes and gowning room.

Doors

Single or double doors; glass panels let staff check stock without opening the cabinet. Sandwich-type doors, with glass panels so staff can see stock without opening the cabinet.

Material

SS 304 or SS 316 for classified areas; powder-coated MS where the room allows it. Stainless steel for cleanrooms, or powder-coated mild steel where the room allows it.

Filter access

Plan access for filter changes and testing, so the cubicle can be maintained in place. A fine filter protects the HEPA filter and extends its life; the HEPA filter cleans the air reaching the garments.
