SS Mopping Trolley

A mopping trolley, also called a cleaning trolley, is a wheeled stainless steel frame that carries the buckets, squeezer and mop a cleaner needs, so the whole floor-cleaning kit moves with them from room to room. In pharmaceutical plants, hospitals and laboratories, floor cleaning follows a written procedure, and the trolley decides how easy that procedure is to follow every day.

Our SS mopping trolley is built around three separate buckets. In the three-bucket method, one bucket holds fresh cleaning or disinfectant solution, one holds rinse water and one collects the dirty water pressed out of the mop. The cleaner wets the mop in the solution, squeezes the excess into the waste bucket, mops a small area, presses the dirty liquid into the waste bucket, rinses the mop, squeezes it again and only then goes back to the fresh solution. Because a dirty mop never goes back into the clean solution, the disinfectant stays clean for longer and dirt is not carried from one part of the floor to the next.

The squeezer sits above the buckets and presses water out of the mop head without the cleaner touching it, so the floor is left damp rather than wet. The frame and buckets are stainless steel, mounted on swivel castors with polyurethane wheels, and can be wiped down and disinfected along with the rest of the room's equipment.
