What makes a cupboard right for a cleanroom?
Cupboards keep files, consumables, tools, garments and spares out of sight and away from dust in production areas, change rooms, labs and offices. In clean areas they also have to be cleaned as often as the walls and floors around them, so how they are built matters as much as how much they hold.
Stainless steel stands up to daily wiping with disinfectants without rusting or shedding paint. Smooth doors and welded joints leave few places for dust and microbes to collect. A sloped or tapered top is common in cleanrooms: dust cannot settle on a flat surface, and nobody can leave boxes or files on top of the cupboard where they would never be cleaned. Doors with clear view panels let staff see what is inside without opening them, and perforated doors let air move through when garments or damp items are stored.
Our SS cupboards are built in SS 304 or SS 316 in a matt or mirror finish, or in powder-coated mild steel. They have adjustable shelves and smooth-running doors, a choice of handle lock, cam lock or combination lock, and are available with a top tapered from rear to front. We make floor-standing storage cupboards, cupboards with perforation and wall-mounted cupboards, in sizes to suit your room.

How to choose the right cupboard
Floor-standing or wall-mounted
Floor-standing cupboards hold more; wall-mounted cupboards keep the floor clear for cleaning.
Solid, glazed or perforated doors
View panels to see the contents, perforated doors for garments and items that need air.
Lock type
Handle, cam or combination lock, depending on who keeps keys and how often the cupboard is opened. Choose the lock that suits who needs access to the contents.
Shelves
Adjustable shelves suit changing contents; tell us if you need a hanging rail for aprons.
Material

Size and top
Measure the wall or floor space and ceiling height, and ask for a tapered top for classified rooms. A top tapered from rear to front, and sizes made to suit your wall and room.

Can we adjust the shelves as per our requirements?
Yes, you can. We will provide adjustable shelves type cupboards.
What is the difference between stainless steel and mild steel?
Stainless steel will not rust while mild steel will. But we are applying powder coating process for preventing from rusting in mild steel.
Do you supply SS cupboards outside Pune?
Yes. We manufacture in Pune and supply SS cupboards across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Share your sizes and quantities and we will send a quotation.
Why do cleanroom cupboards have a sloped top?
A sloped or tapered top stops dust settling on a flat surface and stops people leaving items on top of the cupboard, where they would be hard to clean around.
